I have been going to Asaka for decades! They are an amazing Japanese restaurant. Their sushi is outstanding. The service is great. I highly recommend their ginger dressing. I think it's the best I have ever tried!
Food was great and fresh! Service was quick and refills were faster! We went on a Saturday night and it was calming the atmosphere was nice.
It's good, the only thing I didn't like the cleanliness: glasses, plates, utensils everything was not properly clean.
This is a regular spot for us. Fair prices and yummy food. We come here at least once a month. The service is always great and the restaurant is kept clean and welcoming. Also I know this is really random for their cloth napkins always smell so good! Ha ha
Truly truly truly my favorite restaurant. I've been coming here since I was a kid and it simply does not get old. The best sushi EVER. I get the same thing every single time, and it truly makes my day. The spicy tuna is a must try (dip it in spicy mayo and ginger dressing and you'll see). We don't even need to order anymore, our lifelong server Yuriko already knows our order by heart. We love her so much!
So delighted to come across this place. Definitely a bang for your buck. These days it's hard to find a good Japanese place that does not compromise flavor for price. This place is perfect for date night with dim lighting and cozy booths. The staff is so attentive and kind. We started our meal with the gyozas that were pan seared with a pork filling. The dipping sauce paired perfectly with the delicious taste. For our entree we both had fried rice which for $17 these days you don't expect much but WOW the portions are huge definitely enough to share or else you will be taking it home. The rice is packed with flavor and they do not skimp out on the protein. Will definitely try out the sushi next time!
I went here on a whim with my best friend and was a bit worried considering the amount of people waiting for a seat! However, they were quick to sit us down at the sushi bar and we quickly got serviced by a kind waitress! I ordered, a dragon roll, a side of fried rice and despite being in a corner of the sushi bar we got our food super quick! The restaurant was busy!! But overall it was beautiful decor and had the nicest ambiance! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh and oh my goodness I wanted more and even got some to go! The price was very reasonable and I know for sure I will be back!
This casual Japanese sushi restaurant located in the Aventura area of Miami has many options to choose from. We all shared Edamame $5, a salad $4.95 and Vegetable Fried Rice $11.95. Then we shared several rolls. Most dishes were very good but some average. The place could be updated.
